Out & Loud & Proud
19-23 February 2023
Come together with LGBTIQA+ singers from around Australia and the world to enjoy workshops, performances and celebrations in some of Sydney’s most iconic locations.
Our Festival Hub is at the Wesley Conference Centre in the heart of the Sydney CBD, with performance venues nearby. The closing Gala Concert will take place at the stunning Sydney Town Hall.

The Out & Loud & Proud workshop program offers participants the choice of a range of workshop experiences, including: singing and music from Australia’s First Nations people, vocal bootcamp, cross-cultural styles of singing, movement and choralography, conducting workshops, and much more.
Learn more about our workshops and presenters here.
The OLP Workshop program is open to the public. Individual tickets are available to purchase. Click here to book your spot.

Sydney will come alive with queer choirs during Out & Loud & Proud 2023.
There is something wonderful about getting to know a city by singing at its various iconic landmarks and experiencing heavenly choral sounds as you wander around the city.
Pop-up Performances
On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, choirs will sing at pop-up locations around the city. These are free events for all OLP choirs at landmark Sydney venues. Check out the program for more details.
Out & About
On Monday night, the Inner West precinct of Enmore Road comes alive with the sounds of choral singing, queer music making, cabaret and comedy. Choirs will present more relaxed performances in these iconic places and also enjoy some of Sydney’s culinary delights and quirky destinations. Check out the program for more details.
View the Out & About schedule and map here.
Choir Showcase
On Tuesday evening, our Choir Showcase is an opportunity to get up close and personal with the OLP choirs in an intimate and atmospheric setting.
Get tickets to the Choir Showcase here.
Festival Gala Concert
Our Thursday evening Gala is the climax of the Festival, with all choirs coming together at Sydney Town Hall. This is an opportunity to experience the power of hundreds of voices together in song. This will be an unforgettable event.
