The Out & Loud & Proud workshop program offers participants the choice of a range of workshop experiences, including: singing and music from Australia’s First Nations people, vocal bootcamp, cross-cultural styles of singing, movement and choralography, conducting workshops, and much more.

OLP Choir Showcase

This is your opportunity get up close and personal with some of the choirs who are participating in the Out & Loud & Proud LGBTIQA+ Choral Festival, as part of Sydney WorldPride, in an intimate setting at St Stephen’s Uniting Church in the heart of the Sydney CBD.
Each choir will present 25 minutes of music and there are two sessions to choose from or you can purchase a discounted ticket for both sessions.
Festival Gala Concert

The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir and Sydney WorldPride are delighted to present the Out & Loud & Proud Festival Gala Concert, the grand finale of the five-day international LGBTIQA+ choral festival.
The concert, taking place in the historic splendour of the Sydney Town Hall, features performances by participating choirs from around the world including the Individual Voices Choir comprising singers who are attending without their own choir. The massed-choir of 400 voices perform a number of pieces including a newly commissioned Acknowledgment of Country by Yuwaalaraay composer Nardi Simpson and a festival anthem by Wiradjuri lyricist Jazz Money and composer Joseph Twist. The concert also features special guest and MC, Tim Draxl.
Prepare for an uplifting evening of musical celebration and the awesome power of massed choral singing.
